How I Work
Many people will offer you advice on which investments to buy. However, there is more to your financial life than your investments. Estate taxes, income taxes and education funds for your children are just some of the other complex aspects of your total financial picture. A well thought-out financial strategy will help you reach your personal financial goals and objectives, and give you a greater sense of security. I help clients achieve their financial goals through the complete financial house in order process. Through this process, clients are regularly updated on their financial position to ensure they are on track to reaching their goals.
I am independent, meaning I have no connections to any particular insurance or investment company—my only bias as an advisor is in favor of your best interests. I work along side subject matter experts, who include: Canadian Financial Institutions, Insurance Agencies, Specialty Agencies and other key partners.
As a financial advisor, I use a Complete Financial Needs Analysis Process, made up of six distinct steps.
- Collecting and assessing all relevant financial data – assets and liabilities, tax returns, records of securities transactions, insurance policies, wills and pension plans to help you clarify your present situation.
- Identify financial and personal goals and objectives to clarify your financial and personal values and attitudes.
- Identify financial problems that can create barriers to your financial independence.
- Provide you with recommendations and alternative solutions.
- Assist you to implement the right strategy to ensure that you reach your goals and objectives.
- Review on a regular basis and if necessary, revise your strategy to ensure that you achieve your goals.
